Super Easy to Make – Healthy Breakfast Burrito

Giving up fast food burgers wasn’t too hard for me, but I loved fast food breakfast. In particular I loved Chick-Fil-A’s chicken breakfast burrito. I’ve learned about two substitutions Chick-Fil-A will allow you to make that will make their breakfast burrito healthier. Read about it here:

I discovered an easy way to make an egg, ham and potato breakfast burrito at home using healthy ingredients.

First you must have a tortilla, which I microwave for 15 seconds to soften it up.

Next, take the Smart Ones healthy breakfast scramble seen below and follow the directions (3 total minutes to prepare).

What you add to it is up to you. I start with some Kraft Fat Free Cheddar Cheese.

Then I season it with some salt, cumin, and hot sauce (I used Zatarains brand).

Then I add fat free sour cream and salsa. I have some home made in my fridge but any brand will work.

The end result was really tasty and right about 400 calories. Grilled onions and peppers would be a great addition, but I wanted this to be quick and easy to make, feel free to customize with your own healthy toppings.
