Ok, free doesn’t mean free in the sense of money, free means something you can eat on your diet while counting calories and not have it impact the total.
The image above is a couple of my favorite snacks both are just 5 calories. The Snack Pack jello (jello must be a trademarked word, since it doesn’t appear on the packaging, I’m noticing that for the first time right now) is great, you must get the sugar free kind for it to be a virtually calorie free snack.
Now, let me tell you about these pickles. I can’t get enough Grillo’s pickles! I am notoriously frugal, I pay $8 per tub for these pickles and don’t tell the stores, I would honestly pay $15. They are so good, and no guilt at all eating 1 or 7 of them at a time. (if their logo appears on the front page of the blog tomorrow, I clearly sold out for a case of them or something like that)
Other free foods for me, carrot or celery sticks with dip (by dip, I mean fat free sour cream mixed with either Hidden Valley Ranch dip powder or onion soup mix), cabbage (boiled, add salt and hot sauce), coleslaw made with Splenda and fat free mayo, or lettuce salad with fat free Italian dressing.
Let me know what other foods you enjoy are so low in calories that they don’t impact your daily count?
